GearShot

Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: July 2026

GearShot earns a commission on purchases made through the product links on this site, at no extra cost to you. This page explains that relationship in full. A short version of this disclosure also appears directly above every recommendation, before you see any product link.

Does this affect what GearShot recommends?

No. GearShot's recommendations are generated from a product database built independently of any specific commission rate, and the system is explicitly instructed to recommend the cheaper option when it's genuinely the better fit for you, never the option that pays the most. The price you pay is the same whether you buy through our link or go to the retailer directly, the commission comes from the retailer, not from you.

Amazon Associates

GearShot is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

Other retailers

Beyond Amazon, GearShot is in the process of joining affiliate programs with other camera and gear retailers, including B&H Photo, DJI, and Sweetwater. As each of these partnerships becomes active, links to those retailers will carry the same commission relationship and the same disclosure standard described on this page. This page will be updated as new partners are added.

How disclosure appears on this site

Every page with a product recommendation shows a plain-language notice before the first link, and a small "Ad" label sits next to each individual product link. You should never have to click through to a product to discover that GearShot may earn a commission from it.
